Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee our procurement and inventory operations. We are a manufacturer, doing business in Odessa, Texas for over 40 years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing requirements.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, in a supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Acumatica and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
