We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a high-volume loan officer team. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth client experience from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist loan officers with applications, documentation, and administrative tasks throughout the loan origination process.
\n
• Collect, review, organize, and track borrower documents to help ensure files are complete and ready for the next steps.
\n
• Follow up with borrowers and other parties to obtain outstanding documents, provide updates, and keep transactions moving forward.
\n
• Track active deals and maintain accurate spreadsheets, pipeline records, and transaction updates.
\n
• Support both new leads and existing clients through phone calls, follow-up communication, and general assistance as needed.
\n
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members to help coordinate the lending process.
\n
• Assist with disclosures, document processing, and follow-up on outstanding items and loan conditions.
\n
• Manage multiple transactions and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and professionalism.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Comfortable making phone calls, following up with clients, and coordinating documents and tasks.
\n
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, data entry, and recordkeeping; loan origination software experience is a plus.
\n
• Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively support loan officer; mortgage documentation and underwriting knowledge is a plus.
\n
